That’s how it starts. Steve is in Tony’s suite, making sketches on a pad as he walks around the room that will be Morgan’s nursery. “Hmm?” He glances up from quick scribbles of trees and skylines. “What do you mean?”
Tony pushes off the doorframe and sweeps his hand around the room. “All this. Seeing scenes in your head and being able to produce them on paper."
“I could teach you,” Steve offers impulsively.
Or, Tony learns art doesn't need to be perfect to be good.

There are, Sam has found, a number of things he does enjoy about being Cap. Saving people, sure. The suit, well that thing’s pretty sweet. The hordes of fawning admirers that absolutely do exist, no matter what Bucky says to the contrary? They’re not so bad either.
And there are things he enjoys less. Spending too much time in stuffy rooms around large tables where everyone just talks circles around one another. Living in a world where he has to be a voice for the voiceless, because no one else will be. Wreaking violence on a near-daily basis, because that seems to be the only language some people understand.
And there are things he really cannot stand. Like today. The saving innocent civilians, that’s alright. The doing violence to violent people, he can live with. But the having to sit here, pretending not to care while someone beats up his partner/co-worker/guy with a mutual friend right in front of him? Yeah. He’s over this shit.

Summary
Buck is cold more often than not. He spends most of his days burrowed in the bedding as well as he can manage, except for when he has to emerge to eat, drink, or relieve himself. Early on, he’d thought about just...not doing any of those things. He thought about ignoring the food and water and just letting himself waste away and not have to deal with this barren existence any longer.
After two days of not touching his food and water, Buck had woken up with a copy of his Will resting next to his face. The threat was clear; if Mackey couldn’t use Buck, he’d go after his beneficiaries for money. He’d go after Maddie, Eddie, and Christopher.
Buck has kept to his routine ever since.

Summary
“I wanna know what is so goddamn special,” Mackey drawled, voice increasing in volume as he continued, “about this fucking firehouse that it made this moron give up millions of dollars for you.”
Mackey punctuated the emphasized word with a harsh yank of Buck’s hair, and a gargled whimper left Buck that was muffled by the gag.

Or, Buck's lawyer has a few questions for the firefam about why anyone would ever willingly choose to turn down millions of dollars. In the process, Eddie finally lets himself realize that as much as he's been hurt by Buck and the lawsuit, Buck has been hurting, too, for far longer than the lawsuit.

Summary
After Buck turns down the lawsuit settlement money, his lawyer goes to extreme measures to get the money he lost out on and more. After all, if the city of Los Angeles had been willing to pay the settlement in the first place, why wouldn't they put that same money towards rescuing him?
Buck isn't sure he's following that logic, but at this point, he doesn't care. He just wants to get out of this situation alive, no matter the cost to himself.

First responders across the country are expected to arrive to nearly all emergency calls within six minutes, a national standard the LAFD and LAPD routinely fail. This delay can result in increased medical issues, delayed arrests, and even death.
Today, this pattern of delay may have even more severe consequences, not just for the victims of emergencies, but for first responders themselves.
