If at that moment The Joker laughed thinking he was crying over the beating he was taking, it wasn't his problem. Jason didn't owe him any explanations.
"Is there something you regret, little bird?" The Joker asked, pulling Robin's hair back so they could look into each other's eyes.
When the boy didn't respond the metal lever slammed into his collarbone, snapping it in two. Jason's scream filled the room.
"I regret..." Jason's voice was low and harsh, it pained him to utter any words after having been shouting for so long, "That I met Bruce and... that I couldn't take Wally on our date."
