Summary
Bruce Banner does not like intimacy, or perhaps it would be more accurate to say that he was scared of it. Ever since the Hulk became a part of him, any sort of intimacy that made his heart race didn't end well at all. So he just gave up on it, holed himself away like a mole trying to hide from the sun. But he does love Thor, he really does, and that's why he's tried so hard to keep their relationship almost completely non-physical. But, truth be told, he really did want that intimacy. All he had to do was take a step and let go.
