Summary
As they’re walking to the temple, music blaring from the circus next door, Astarion notices that Tav seems much more tired than usual. She’s dragging her feet, slow to respond to comments from her friends, and she seems paler than usual. Perhaps he drank a little too deeply from her neck last night? This time, he does feel badly for it. It’s not her fault he’s a vampire, a parasite who lives off the blood of others, and she’s been so kind to let him drink even once. She cares about him, and he about her, and this is something that continues to bother his recently re awakened conscience; that simply by existing, he is hurting her.
Astarion feels bad that Tav is affected when he drinks her blood, not realizing she's a paladin who cures herself every morning.

Summary
The group is finally gearing up to assault Moonrise Towers, it feels like they’ve been in the Shadowlands for an eternity at this point. It’s as Astarion is going over his armor and weapons one final time, an unexpected knot of anxiety sitting heavily in his stomach, that he notices Tav squinting at the edge of her halberd and holding it up, almost touching her face. He knows she’s a doughty warrior, but surely that’s much too close to her eye to be safe?
Astarion learns that Tav needs glasses, and has to quickly re-evaluate his perception of their growing relationship taking that into consideration.

Summary
It’s been a long night, after dark ambushes by vampire spawn in your beautiful inn room will do that, but you’ve finally cleaned up, again, and you’re ready to go back to bed, again. As you head to your bed though, you see Astarion. He had waved you off earlier when you asked if he was ok, and he’s still sitting where you left him when you went to wash up, on the floor, back against his bed, head down on crossed arms leaned on his knees, heaps of almost-destroyed-but-teleported-away vampire spawn dust all over him, in his hair, on his clothes, on top of the layer of blood.
You and your party were ambushed by Cazador's spawn at the Elfsong Inn. Astarion is filthy afterwards so you offer to help him clean up.

Summary
Agreeing to let him drink from you the first time feels like a lifetime ago, especially since you’ve entered the eternal twilight of the Shadowlands, and you’ve offered him many such drinks since then. Last night, when he came by your tent to drink, he felt softer? Not his teeth of course, but his body.
You notice Astarion has gained some weight recently, and chat with him about it. Set sometime in the Shadowlands in Act 2.

Summary
Last night, Garak had found himself in a dream, so sharp and real that it had taken him hours to shake the dread. It was this very conversation, but gone in a terribly different direction. The images came back to him now - Bashir's confusion, his amusement tinged with disgust, his eyes going cold and distant at the very idea that he would allow such familiarities, that Garak could ever deserve to -
"It's of no consequence," Garak spat out.
Bashir shifted slightly in his seat. "Yes, I can see that."
A silence stretched between them, impenetrable and unyielding.
"Look," Bashir said finally, leaning forward again. "I had this thought. It might be mad, but - well, it's been too long since you and I had a bit of fun at Dukat's expense, isn't it?"

Summary
On a routine away mission, Janeway and Chakotay uncover ancient ruins built around a blade designed to test those who lead—and those who follow. When an alien system activates and the two are cut off from their crew, they are forced into a series of trials that measure not strength or rank, but intention, trust, and shared duty. The story draws heavily from Arthurian legend and mythology.

Summary
The cat thinks that Kageyama often looks like a very solitary kind of person, so tall and straight-backed and impassive, but he really isn’t much more than a kitten. He shouldn’t be on his own, at least not now. The cat knows she doesn’t understand much of what he is saying, but she understands that much.
