    They may have failed to recruit Bakugou Katsuki as a teen, but Dabi knew it was just a matter of time before they could try again. Teens might be impressionable, but with someone like Katsuki…Dabi knew that patience would be the key. In his mind, adults are far easier to break anyway. So he watched from afar, waiting for the opportunity to strike after being given the green light.

    Then, the League lost the war and Dabi defected to strike out on his own, but he still found his eyes wandering to the budding young hero every time he appeared on the news or in the paper. His job of recruiting may be done, but something about the hero still itches under his skin, calling his demons out to play. He’d grinned when he finally figured it out…he still wants to break the hero…just in an entirely new way.
