In any case, Loki doesn't look like he cares. His apathy scares Thor in a way his viciousness never had. Loki puts his hands in Thor's, dull and almost docile and Thor tries not to blanch. He'll fix this. He has to fix this. Everything will be fine and he'll get his brother back, the one he knew, not this scarred, haunted shadow of the man he knew and loved, alternately apathetic and vengeful. Thor can do this. He knows he can.

He had to prove he wasn't like Andreas. He's Saul's son in everything but blood. If he can show Andreas that he's not like him, that he chooses family over a cause, then he'll be able to convince himself that he wasn't like him. And he won't let a few stitches get in the way of that.

Summary
While Sky is still angry at Saul about the whole killing his biological father but not really killing him thing, Saul is slowly withering away from injuries he got during his captivity. When he doesn't show up to teach his class Sky goes off to look for him and demand some explanations, he's certainly not counting on what he finds instead.
