Nendou starts running faster the closer they get, and before anyone can ask him what happened he shouts, “Partner!”
With that, everyone starts running faster. Shun hears Aren murmur “Shit”, but he couldn't focus on anyone elses reaction.

Shiiko now could say that she fully believed the rumors, there was no way this was platonic. Not when Nendou was showing this much emotion. She couldn’t see Saiki’s face, but the fact that he wasn’t trying to run away must count as a love confession.

This… this wasn’t fun. This wasn’t how they used to train four years ago, before Shouto. This didn’t feel like training, at least not to Touya. And probably not to Shouto either, if his scared face was anything to go by. He didn’t feel like he was learning anything.
He was tired, he didn’t want to keep going. They had already been training for five hours with no rest, Shouto had bruises forming and had already thrown up once.

Sometimes Shouto felt like he was tied. He was tied with his hands being unable to feel. He was gagged and wasn’t able to talk. He was blindfolded and wasn’t able to see. In his ears there were earphones so he wouldn’t be able to hear.
He felt trapped. It felt like too much and nothing at the same time. He knew there were things happening outside of his bubble, but because they couldn’t reach him, it wasn’t important to him. So he kept living like that.
If there were judging voices, he didn’t hear them. If there were punches thrown his way, he didn’t feel them. If there were people criticizing him, he didn’t see them. If he was asked if everything was okay he only nodded and didn’t talk.

He was falling fast and he couldn’t stop himself, he didn’t even know if he would come out alive if he hit the floor. His powers were back, but not all of them, and at the moment they were too weak.
