In the castle's dining hall, Pyro explains what the humans have found regarding a cure for the vampires and Scott reveals that he knows more information about the "cure" than he originally let on....It works but in a NOT-so-great, "you didn't read the fine print" type of way.
Said fine print is that their bodies are very dead so being a vampire is the only thing keeping them alive and removing the curse would NOT fix that.
