Summary
College junior EJ Caswell has been living in New York for two years now. When the shower in his apartment breaks and his cousin offers to let him use the shower at her place. As he's about to take a shower, he hears a voice coming from one of the apartments next door singing a song and finds himself joining in.
"As they sung the last line together, EJ was startled by a thought. He couldn’t remember the last time he had sung. At least not sung like this: carefree and with a talented partner. It was probably back in high school. And it suddenly hit him just how much he had missed it. How much he had missed giving his best and singing his heart out together with someone who obviously had just as much fun with it as he was having. This woman on the other side of the wall definitely sounded like it wasn’t her first time singing with a partner either."
Their shower duets quickly become one of the highlights of his day. But the question remains: who is this mysterious singer with the amazing voice?

Summary
Inspired by the song "Mary's Song (Oh My My My)" (by Taylor Swift), this story follows Gina Porter. Gina has two best friends: Ashlyn and EJ Caswell. However, as the years go by, her feelings for EJ start to develop into something else.
"Love was a strange thing. It came in so many different forms, shapes and sizes.
It could sneak up on you, developing slowly and steadily form a warm affection to an all-encompassing feeling of adoration and devotion. Or it could come completely out of the blue, hitting you over the head and making you question how you had not realized it was there sooner.
And then there was this other kind of love. In many cases the most unexpected, most confusing or even most terrifying kind of love. The kind of love between two people – regardless of their individual form, shape and size, regardless of their age, race or gender – that binds them together in a unique way. The kind of love that didn’t have to make sense or be logical, but rather the kind of love that just … was."
Follow Gina and EJ's journey from ages 7 and 9 to ages 87 and 89 as Gina tries to explain to her granddaughter what love is.

19-year-old Gina Porter moves to New York for college to study dance. After moving into her new apartment, she quickly befriends her neighbors. One day while she's singing in the shower, a voice coming from one of the apartments next door joins in.
"Gina broke off startled. For a moment, it had sounded as if someone else had sung along on the last line. A little irritated, the girl shook her head causing water droplets to fly all over the place making her giggle. She really must be tired if she was imagining having an Olaf to her Anna singing along with her. And instead of thinking too much more about it, Gina simply continued to sing."
It's definitely a male voice, but how can that be when all her neighbors are girls. Regardless, their shower duets quickly become one of the highlights of her day. But the question remains of who this mystery singer is.

A pair of Louboutin's and two days later Kol's moving in. It might be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Or possible the making of two mortal enemies. Time will tell. But suddenly Klaus is always around. Planted on her couch, offering snarky commentary, eating their food. Seriously, who invited him?

In the other place, this dark plane between life and death, she’s pulled hard into all of them at the same time, so hard, she feels the tether snap a bit, the little knot in the center that was the most of her pulled too taut, so small it disappears.

Keyleth sticks her hand in the siphon and gets pulled to the Shadowfell during the fight with the Briarwoods. She comes back different.
