The jjk brainrot is worse than I thought and my friend that shares my obsession is a horrible influence. Basically what I had pictured is that this character (or you, if you want to imagine yourself as a window in the jjk world) can see curses and notices the jjk sorcerers (and sorcerers often notice something odd about you too), but you choose to ignore it all until you see something you shouldn't.

There were a few things Oliver didn't know. What that meant for him, it shouldn't have mattered. What it should've done was start and end with his complicated rivalry with Marcus Flint, but of course, things could never really happen as they should.
In other words, Oliver forgets his life (and his boyfriend), and the reality of it comes crashing back down on him.
