A coffee shop/university/modern au because every fandom needs one. Also, there's a brief mention of Romeo's mum working at the cafe in chapter 1 because I wanted to add to the headcanon that Romeo was adopted by Anne and Will and he calls them mum and dad and I find that so cute.
May, Juliet and Anne work at a cafe opposite a university where Francois and Romeo share a music and songwriting class. Francois procrastinated on a project and only has a week to work on it and the first night he goes to the cafe because it's open until midnight and coincidentally May is working that shift. They meet and it all escalates from there. Set over the course of a week.
