Henry’s expression shifted from amusement to astonishment. “Rock, paper and scissors?” he repeats, his voice a blend of disbelief and curiosity as he tries to grasp the sudden, surreal turn in their conversation. He splutters. Eyes wide, he stares.
The haze of medication is unmistakable in Alex’s suggestion. He nodded, his movements languid and carefree, a clear sign of his interesting state. “Yeah,” he agrees, his voice carrying a detached calm. “Let’s play rock, paper and scissors, but if we both choose the same move, we have to kiss.”
Let it be reiterated: Alex is high as a kite.
An eerie silence descends. Henry blinks. His mouth falls slightly open as he stares at Alex in disbelief. Eyes wide. “Christ,” he murmurs softly, his voice a mix of exasperation and wonder. “What?”
A certain realisation. An appendectomy. A game of "Rock, Paper and Scissors". What can possibly go wrong?

Tony grows in front of the cameras and keeps a world of expectations balanced on the tightrope of his shoulders, but nothing ever seems to be enough. The hubris is a fallacy and the smirk Steve had always known to be a front isn’t whimsy, as he’d expected; instead, it’s bred. As he follows a couple of his steps, Steve feels as Tony does, which is to say: intensely. Every happiness is a marvel, every pain is acute.
