Summary
Yachi Hitoka used to be a first-string manager for a middle school basketball team based in Tokyo - the one holding the record for most consecutive national titles. Then, her boyfriend changed into something unrecognisable - something ruthless, and frightening - and Yachi Hitoka did what she did best… and ran away.
She continues doing so until a beautiful upperclassman in her new school introduces her to the volleyball team - and, lungs full of nostalgic salonpa-smell, she meets the piercing, victory-hungry eyes of Hinata Shouyou once again.
She does not run.
She freezes.
(or: once upon a time, Yachi Hitoka was a girlfriend to someone who went to FIBA U16. Then she saw him crushing other people into nothing because he was bored, and she refused to face reality.
