“Can I take the mask off Captain PJs?” Tony asked as he peered down, noting the ragged breaths.
“No,” Peter clipped back, more so out of the excruciating pain wracking his body than sass for once.
“That’s unfortunate cause I’m going too anyway.”
“Why even ask then, Tin Can?”
Tony simply snorted at the nickname, before hooking his fingers under the mangled mask's edge and carefully pried it away. Peter clenched his eyes closed as the fabric tugged at a cut that had already started healing on his cheek.
Any other bad guy would’ve faced much harsher treatment from Tony but he’d his suspicions that they were dealing with someone on the younger side.or: Following his escape from the clutches of Hydra, Peter Parker finds himself in the hands of Avengers.

Summary
A high-pitched whirring from the skies above stopped Stephen in his tracks, eyes narrowing to identify where it was coming from. Amidst the stars, the silhouette of something undistinguishable caught his attention. Subconsciously he craned his neck forward to try and get a closer look.
Before his mind could fully catch up and process what was happening, something fell from the mysterious airborne contraption before it flew off at speed. A resounding splash brought his attention back to ground level. He started to jog across the walkway to get closer to the impact zone, gaze fixed and determined. Anxiety was beginning to crawl and prickle across his skin at an alarming rate, temperature rising uncomfortably.
When a small crowd was within earshot, he skidded to a halt.
“He’s not coming up!”
“Someone call 911, quick!”
“Oh my God, someone help him! He's going to drown!"
The one comment that would have his heart pounding so hard and fast that he thought it might escape his ribcage was the one exclaiming it had been Spider-Man that had fallen.Or: Stephen ends up reliving the trauma of his sister's death when he has to save Peter from the Hudson River.

“Take it from the top. Tell me everything,” Stephen inquired as he took the seat opposite, hands steepled together and lightly pressed against his chin.
“Got a distress call from Peter’s suit. Tracked him down but couldn’t connect to his AI. Arrived on the scene to find exhibit A: tiny child, tangled up in the Stark Suit. Kid says he’s Peter Parker and the scans confirm it. Short Stuff just got shorter.”
Or... Tony and Stephen go from snarky acquaintances to friends to idiot dads who clearly love each other whilst solving the mystery of a de-aged Peter. -

In the aftermath of defeating Vox, Alastor offers to help Lucifer tend to his wounds, since Alastor has to take care of his own anyway, so might as well! Lucifer is too exhausted to protest much, and agrees. It ends up being a more tender and pleasant experience than he expected. Maybe the radio demon isn't so bad after all.

Summary
It’s funny, really. This very odd and yet very present feeling had accompanied him for a couple of days by now, and it had arisen on the day the multiverse had almost broken apart. Nothing indicated that something had gone terribly wrong on that day – the multiverse was saved, and Stephen had returned from the battle with only a couple of scratches. Nothing quite out of the ordinary, not really.
So why did he constantly feel like he was missing something very important?
Or: Stephen knows that he forgot something of great importance and he slowly starts to realize that it is the entire existence of Peter Parker.
