Summary
Jon has just broken up with Jay, and during a mission gone wrong, his anger gets the better of him—so much so that he nearly kills someone. Alarmed by his behavior, his parents decide it’s time for a drastic intervention, sending him to his grandparents’ farm in Kansas to cool off and regain control.
Damian’s family is worried about him killing himself after being consistently overly reckless on patrol. To pull him out of his downward spiral, they send him to the Kent farm under the watchful eye of his ex-best friend, Jon, so that he can get some time away from vigilante life.

Summary
Reo always came back in the summer.
Louder than the waves, shinier than the sun, and always with something new, some hobby, some haircut, some reason to wedge himself back into Nagi’s life like he never left. Nagi hated it. Hated the noise, the mess, the feeling of being seen.
And yet… every time Reo left, it felt quieter. Worse.
Then he stopped coming.
And Nagi started checking the mailbox.
Now they’re seventeen, sitting in the back of Nagi’s beat-up truck, and Reo’s smiling like he doesn’t know what he’s doing to him. Like he hasn’t spent seven summers ruining his peace just to carve out a place in his chest.
