Summary
There's the thunk of a book hitting the floor, and suddenly Astarion is on his feet. The other man's slim form is silhouetted by the fire as he closes the distance between them with preternatural speed, invading Halsin's space in an instant. He's not touching, still not saying anything, but there's something banked in Astarion's gaze, something threatening to ignite at any moment.
"What," the vampire murmurs, his cool breath caressing Halsin's lips, "exactly is this, my sweet?"
"It's, ah, a look inspired by Calishite courtesans—apparently very popular in the bedroom these days." The druid swallows, the bulge in his throat visibly bobbing.
OR: Understanding his personal hangups about his body and inspired by Astarion’s self-confidence, Halsin decides to surprise the vampire with a special (and decidedly revealing) outfit. It goes over surprisingly well.

His thoughts were drifting again, but Halsin caught him feathery light just before he could get too far away. Careful fingers held his chin so Astarion would need to look at him. There was no strength behind it, so the vampire could have pulled away, should he have decided to do so.
In fact, Astarion felt far from wanting to pull away - but his inner struggle and turmoil were ever present in his conflicted eyes.
“This time, when you feel it getting too much, don’t slip into that dark place. Just to test a little theory.” Before Astarion could reply, Halsin kissed him hot and deep and rough.

Halsin merely tended to his companions, like wild plants in a garden.
