Or, some residual angst about growing up in an Asian family and projecting really hard onto the first child character in Chinese mythology who wasn't just a mouthpiece for "listen to everything your parents say".
The Nezha mentioned in this poem is based on the original mythology in Fengshen Yanyi/Journey to the West, but tagging other fandoms anyway in case anyone else might be interested.
