"Hey," Uenoyama spits, throwing his current guitar pick at Akihiko's head. It soars through the air, its sleek glossy red finish catching the fluorescent lights overhead before it pings off Akihiko's shoulder. The other man doesn't even bother trying to dodge it, just arches his eyebrows and grins, just a little. "I didn't come up with this alone! Mafuyu, tell him!"
"The bit before where the chorus goes is based off the riffs Haruki was warming up with that last week." Mafuyu also adds, "he let me pick out the chords for the opening too. Does that count?"
"Congratulations," Akihiko says dryly, ignoring Mafuyu's statement completely, "you've made him even cockier than he already was."
"He has not," Uenoyama shouts, the pitch of his voice climbing an octave, loud enough to make Haruki wince.
Mafuyu gives Akihiko the same smile that always makes Hiiragi snarl about how he's a little shit and answers, "that's okay, I like it when he's cocky."
Uenoyama makes a noise that is only barely within the range of human hearing, carefully lifts his guitar from over his head to drop it in a guitar stand, and then drops on the ground to curl up in a ball.

Summary
Graveyards in such small neighborhoods held a different kind of air. Sorrow and sadness hung in a different way here than they could have ever done in those of bigger, more populated cities. In the graveyards of small towns, of small neighborhoods where everyone knew each other, each tombstone held a familiar name, and each deep recess in the wall held the remains of a loved one. It wasn’t about gentle disposal here; it was about building a monument to someone lost, so they could always find their way back home.
Yuki’s grave was something like that.

Summary
Ritsuka is used to being in control. He’s used to it, used to managing school, his part-time job, the band, and his sister, all at once - it’s no big deal, really. Or at least it wasn’t, until he stumbled upon a certain boy with soft eyes and broken guitar strings, and suddenly there was a whole new world of feelings opening to him, and he didn’t quite know how to deal with it.
Or an exploration of his and Mafuyu's new relationship.
