“And you think ‘Sea and Stone’ is me and Nico?” Percy asks. He ignores the fact that six years ago, there wouldn’t have been any doubt that the lovers were him and Annabeth. There’s a twinge in his stomach.
“We know so,” Piper says. “Hestia visited Rachel to clarify the prophecy.”
He raises his eyebrows. “Gods aren’t usually that concerned about how clear we think a prophecy is.”
“She said,” Rachel falters, glancing around the room. “She said this was the last chance. That’s why she needs it to be you and Nico—nothing can go wrong.”
Percy looks at Nico, who meets his eyes and shrugs, like just another day in the life of a demigod, huh, Percy?
“Great,” Percy sighs. “No pressure.”

percy tries to retire to fogo, newfoundland, but hestia has had enough of death. she has a plan to prevent the gods from using demigods as their pawns. pulling percy out of retirement and nico out of whatever-the-fuck-he's-been-up-to is part of her plan. also, like, creating a new god. casual.

Flash raised his hand. “Our tour guide earlier said Peter wasn’t an intern, and Stark Industries don’t take high-school age interns.” He said, only sounding slightly snarky in the face of the world-famous billionaire.Peter has to deal with embarrassing parents, a high school bully, and his disaster of an extended family.
He deserves to get paid for this.
