We all know about how Ruin made Eclipse as a distraction for the celestial family so he could wipe the 5,000+ dimensions and rid of the creator council once and for all....
But what if he didn't?
What if instead of staying in the arcade all the time, they instead ended up bonding with the celestial family?
What if instead of making Eclipse as a distraction, Eclipse was made as an assistant to Ruin to find a way to get rid of the creators without wiping the dimensions?
Would it even be possible to do...?
Would it have ended terribly, or would it have ended well?

Oh no, everyone's becoming Twisted in Gardenview!
Except...
That's not all that's happening, is it?
All of the toons seem to be acting different from how they were before, along with having completely different senses of styles and colors. No one is how they used to be.
And it seems most of them don't remember how they used to be either.
Despite this, maybe things can turn back normal once again, and they can all return to being silly cartoon characters playing with the children.
But...
Dandy knows things can never be the same.
Not after this.

Summary
Glisten is gone. After an extraction run gone awry, Rodger is left without his best friend and with more motivation than ever to find out the truth behind the mysterious ichor corruption affecting the toons trapped in Gardenview. After weeks of grieving, Rodger finally meets the twisted form of Glisten- and while his friend is barely recognizable, he's not fully gone yet. Rodger might be able to save him. So, he does the only logical thing.
He brings him home.

“So. You’re here every week, then?” Sparkle Man asked, turning his hips to face Rodger.
“Mhm,” Rodger responded.
“Guess I’ll be seeing you again, then, mysterious detective.”
“Suppose so, sparkle boy.”
He snickered. “I like that. No outfit is complete without a bit of glimmer, after all,” he sighed.
Rodger huffed in acknowledgement.
There was a small pause. Rodger’s eyes began to feel tired, and he stood up straight to collect his thoughts and his wild daughter.
“Hey, wait,” Sparkle Man pleaded.
Rodger tilted his head, stopping in his tracks.
“What’s your name?”
Another brief pause.
“Rodger. You?”
Sparkle Man glared at him, as if considering whether his name fit him. He sent Rodger a flashy smile. “Name’s Glisten, detective. Pleasure to meet ya.”
