Summary
You should never show up to a knife fight empty-handed. Kumada knows this better than anyone, but irony has a funny way of screwing her over. She's hardly given any time to react as Shishikura flies out of her bathroom, descending on her with a knife. “This is it,” she thinks to herself. “This is how I die.” At least Yaitabashi is safe. At least she managed to protect one of her friends.
That is until she hears a knock on her door, forcing Shishikura to freeze in place.
“Erina?” Look, I know it’s late, but I really need to talk to you! I’m– I’m coming in, alright?”
