He was lounging disrespectfully on a cushioned chair, books spread around the floor and table like a fortress between him and the world. His sweatshirt hood was pulled over his head, but Tomura could still see the faded scars and piercings that turned his face into a work of art.
His feet were propped up on the table, clunky boots with buckles and straps and soles worn down smooth. Normally Tomura would ignore it - he’s not a narc - but this guy had been staking out the same back corner table for weeks. And not only had he claimed prime real estate for himself, he always left a mess behind that Tomura had to clean up.

Dabi flops.
Several of the joints in Hawks’ back click and crunch with the weight of him, and he hears Hawks grunt above him, but the bird brain doesn’t move to shove him off, doesn’t even open his mouth to complain. He just shoots Dabi a mildly unhappy glare and loops his arms loosely over Dabi’s waist. Then he looks back at the ceiling and Dabi makes himself comfortable so that his hip joints aren’t digging into Hawks’ and his arms wouldn’t start to go numb with any awkward positioning.
“You,” Hawks mutters, staring sleepily at the ceiling, “are way more cuddly than I expected when I first saw you.”
