Summary
Within Hyrule Castle's endarkened halls, two ghosts are drawn to one another, songs entwining as they dance their doomed dance. Zelda wants to save her people from the shadow that has consumed them no matter the cost. Ganondorf seeks justice for what was done to him and his, justice they were never given in life, and he will stop at nothing to take what is rightfully his.
He does not expect to find pity in his shadowed heart for Hyrule's cursed princess, nor kinship, nor fondness. He does not expect to see in her the light which he has always longed for, in her gentle hands and the determination that burns within her. She can be his death or his salvation - and he, hers, if only they can play their parts.
