Summary
At first, it was easy to ignore. Just a little tingle in his leg that happened sometimes when Link was in the kitchen. No big deal. It seemed to stop if he moved more often, so he started dancing a little while he hummed and cooked. It made Zelda smile every time she caught him at it, so moving didn’t even seem like a downside.
But when it went from “a little tingle” to “walking on fire," it was only a matter of time before Zelda figured out something was wrong.

What do you even put as a salutation in a letter to a princess? Is “Dear Princess Zelda” too generic? Do you need to say “your highness” or “your majesty” or something? Is there some special formal greeting just for royals?
… Did it matter at all when you weren’t even sure how to get a letter to the girl who you’d just saved? Maybe saved? Hopefully saved?
Trapped in a rift after (hopefully) saving the princess, Link tries to communicate back to the normal world.

“With the amount of time you spend staring at that guy, I can only conclude that you have a crush, Link.”
Link startled and glared at his friend. “Darunia, that guy has a name. It’s Sheik.”
“Which you only know because you’ve been creepily listening for his coffee order getting called out. It might not even be his real name! Lots of people use fake coffee names! Quit mooning over him and go talk to him, brother.”
A modern Ocarina of Time AU for the Serenade of Time event.

Summary
Falling in love with the young widow who’d hired him to help out around the farm was such a cliché that the other volunteers at the soup kitchen had teased him about it before Link even accepted the job. And sure enough, he’s smitten the moment he meets her. But why does looking at him seem to make her so sad?

Summary
Judging from the mutterings Link was hearing, other people had a very different impression of Princess Zelda than he did.
“She’s so young and inexperienced. I just don’t know if she’s ready to be queen, yet.”
It was maddening! What did these people even know? She’d been to every city with him while they were restoring the spirit tracks! Didn’t these people re...mem...ber. Oh no. She’d been a spirit then.
Link overhears some people complaining that Princess Zelda could use more experience, and he decides that Hyrule needs some help to see her the way he does.

Summary
Tri and Zelda had a theory that Link’s cloak had worked so well as a disguise in part because the castle guards weren’t really looking at her but rather paying attention to her princess attire. When Zelda and Link had realized they were close enough in size to share clothes beyond the cloak, she’d suggested that he should test the theory by walking into the castle as her. Link decided to take the whole challenge seriously. After all, if he was going to infiltrate the castle, he wanted to do it right.

Summary
Zelda didn’t want to give the weapons back. She especially liked the way the sword helped her her feel brave, strong, and skilled. But she hadn’t spent all that time upgrading them only to leave her strongest ally unarmed. She even tried to smile as she handed them over. See, she had courage of her own. Take that, sword. There would be time for feelings later.
A story about Zelda finding her footing after the end of Echoes of Wisdom.
