Summary
“Isn’t it beautiful?” Kou hears Hanako nearly whisper, almost so quiet he doesn’t hear it. He turns his head back to Hanako, but the spirit doesn’t seem to notice, or at least mind. He just continues staring with his head tipped back, transfixed on the endless sky above them. Kou follows his gaze. Hanako is right, it really is beautiful. With the school closed for the day and most of the lights off, the sky is filled to the brim with stars. There’s so many, Kou can’t help but gasp. He’s never seen so many stars at once. The moon is full and seemingly lights up the sky almost as bright as the sun would. Kou can see why Hanako loves this so much. Who wouldn’t love such a sight?
