Summary
Aesop Sharp is an ex-auror who was forced to retire and start a life of teaching due to a debilitating injury incurred in battle. His long, fruitless search for a cure is finally wearing down at his hope. Somehow, in between struggling to balance teaching at Hogwarts, looking for a cure for his injury, and managing his chronic pain, he grows to care for a new student who started in her fifth year. Summary
Aesop Sharp is known as the gruff, demanding Potions Master of Hogwarts. A perception he doesn't often try to change. There was a path that led him to that point; closely guarded and hidden in his past. Tragedies paired in three that marred and scarred a once driven and ambitious man.
Most see a former Auror, searching for a cure that may never be found. But there is far more hidden than they realize. Everyone has a past, present, and future. And one's legacy may not always be as grim as it first appears.
