Summary
It's been ten years since Dawn fought against Team Galactic on Spear Pillar and came face to face with Giratina. She wasn't expecting to ever see them again. But when a distortion portal appears before her camp one night, she finds herself sent back in time with an important mission - somewhere in the land of Hisui, there is another human who seeks to use the power of the gods for his own ends. Dawn must find and stop him before he can get a chance.
If only Giratina had bothered to explain any of that before she ran smack dab into Volo and told him that she was from the future.

Dawn is sent back in time by Giratina instead of Arceus. Everything proceeds to go sideways from there.

Summary
Akari's heard all sorts of rumors about the Platinum Clan ever since falling to Hisui. Everyone has warned her to be cautious around them. But when their mysterious, charismatic leader invites her to come join a festival in their settlement, she can't help but see for herself what the clan is really like. If nothing else, it will be a nice break from the exhausting work of surveying and quelling frenzied Nobles.
She wasn't expecting to be welcomed quite so warmly.
Nor was Giratina expecting to find Arceus's little hero so endearing.
