Summary
Harry Potter shows up at Draco Malfoy's trial, says "clean slate," and somehow this leads to: one increasingly opinionated ancestral house, a bunch of traumatized teenagers trying to find their way, an unreasonable number of rituals, one magical chaos pigeon named Merlin, one house elf running the whole operation, approximately one thousand feelings neither of them knows how to say out loud, and eventually, eventually, karaoke.
This is a love story. It just takes the long way around.

Summary
After unable to conceive an Heir naturally due to a Curse cast upon him, James and Lily get help from an old friend Niklaus Mikaelson who gives them their most precious gift the trio could ever hope to receive: a daughter. However, an Old Coot had to intervene and stop Klaus raising his littlest wolf and sets grandparents against grandchildren in the forms of Compulsions. But when the Dursleys go to far and Lilijana has to protect herself at five years old she triggers her wolf side and sets the ball rolling for one massive takeover. One thing the Wizarding world will learn is you never mess with the daughter of a Potter AND a Mikaelson, especially when she is the granddaughter of two of the most Darkest Lords in Wizarding History.
Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter or the vampire diaries/originals. I only own my OCs and changes to the characters and plots. The vampire diaries part as been brought forwards so season 3 episode 9: homecoming lines up with when Lilijana is 5. No Horcruxes.

Summary
In the forest there was a clearing, and in the clearing, there was a house. It’s made of wood and the roof is thatched. There is a small barn beside the home, just large enough to keep a chicken coop and some supplies. On the other side of the home there is a garden, well-tended and littered with bright flowers.
A woman watches a family play in front of this home. She stays hidden in the trees as the six children chase each other, laughing wildly. There is a fond smile on her face as she drinks in the scene before her.
She hopes one day she can tell them this story. That there was a time when they were happy, and carefree, and alive. She will tell them that the summer was warm, and bright, the wind was cool, and gentle.
She will tell them that there was a time—a brief wonderful time—when their parents called them in for supper, they were not afraid. That their mother and father embraced each child, running their fingers through the children’s hair, with their eyes glowing with love.
She will tell them that their lives started with love, not pain.
That will have to be later, though, because the Mikealson’s haven’t met her yet. But they will.
They are her destiny, after all.

Damon Salvatore was not the only being that Emilie Bennett made a deal with the night the tomb was sealed. Helios was also present that night. A creature much older than Katherine at the time, and Damon in the present time. To trust her lineage in the hands of a vampire wasn't something she completely trusted... But trusting her lineage in the hands of a nearly ancient being that their spells and incantations mentioned... She trusted that.
For years, Helios watched over the Bennett line in the shadows. Quietly and without hassle. He gave extra protection to those who genuinely used his name in their magic, and the ones who didn't... Their magic slowly slipped from their grasps with no explanations from their elders. But now, although the line didn't have many living witches, the ones they had... Used his name and magic as if it were a weekly ritual it seemed. Something he hadn't seen since before Emilie... And that's what got him where he was now.
