Ryan Hart was an older brother now. He wasn't thrilled, but he couldn't blame Blue. Kid didn't ask to be born. And after a bad night and a not-so-theraputic drive, Ryan saw something he never wanted to see. Now he really wished that his parents had been able to get the kid away from Dixie.

With everything that happened after the tsunami, Buck needed something positive. So he went in and signed up to complete the last days of training he needed for fully being a SEAL. He signed up for the Reserve side, so he wasn't going to be leaving being a firefighter. He somehow managed to keep it a secret, actually. For a while. He should have expected it wouldn't last. His stabilization time was over and his sister was gone to deal with her PPD while her partner blamed him and took off to find her, dragging their daughter with him. So Buck didn't actually feel bad about not telling anyone he worked with. Not when they all sided with Chimney.
