Midnight.
"Just." They leaned against the door frame of the small shack and looked out at the desert. They tilted their head back and looked to the moon. One arm lifted, and they tapped through a menu on their bulky Pip-Boy. "I need to leave for a bit. You two, try not to kill one another, yeah?" They didn't even look back, out they went, and the door shut with a whimper of rusted metal at their retreat.
Arcade stepped back into the room that could loosely be described as a bedroom. He was never one to keep things much to himself, but they'd gone so abruptly, so quickly, he didn't have much of a choice. If he couldn't let them know how he felt, he could let Boone know his displeasure. He flung himself back onto the twin bottom mattress and sighed. The bed creaked loudly under his weight.
Boone snorted. A disdainful snort, one that curled with barely contained disgust at that thin upper lip.
"You know, I think he was talking to you about that. I'm a doctor. Do no harm to my patients, and all that." He took note of the eye roll behind those grayed glasses Boone insisted on wearing even in the dark. Even inside. He inhaled his own derisive noise and kept it firmly to himself.

Summary
Shortly after Boone had started traveling with the Courier, she introduced him to Arcade Gannon. He was smart and sarcastic and a bit of an asshole. Boone liked him, not that he’d ever admit it. It was also obvious that something bad had happened to him before they’d met. Boone had come up with several theories, but it wasn’t until the Courier dragged him to the Fort to talk with Caesar that he found out that the reality was much worse.

He's also kept Elijah a secret from the rest after The Parting. Now, partnered with RK900, or Nines, and going undercover, Gavin is counting the minutes until the android discovers his secrets. Not to mention the growing attraction to the damned man. Can Gavin keep his feelings in check and his walls built up high, or will it all come crashing down as he solves the murders of Android-Human couples in the neighborhood? Only time will tell.

Summary
Gavin Reed was looking forward to finally having a quiet evening in when he gets assigned to a crime scene that turns out to be the most unusual, and memorable, case of his career.
Catching a murder happen on camera would usually lead to a simple open and closed case. But when the perpetrator happens to be an android, the case quickly becomes far from simple.
So instead of trying to discover who committed the murder, Gavin is tasked with finding the runaway android and determining how an android could even turn violent in the first place. Not only that, but CyberLife's interest in the case means Gavin is forced to partner up with one of its corporate androids.
As he works the case with one of the latest RK900 models, he starts questioning if he ever actually understood what androids were capable of and soon realizes there's something far grander happening than one rogue android.
