If one were to be delicate, one would say that Jazz and Prowl are incompatible.
The blunt truth?
'You just lie there with this blank expression on your face,' he'd been told by his last partner. Signal had stayed longer then most, willing to try since Prowl was so obviously doing his best, interfacing to please his partner and give him what Prowl himself disliked. In the end, though, it hadn't worked. 'You don't like me touching you, you don't like the mess, you don't even like the overload, and half the time I swear you're running economic simulations in your CPU you look that bored. I don't want that. I don't want you miserable, and I don't want me miserable, either.'
So why can't Prowl stop wishing?

Summary
Jazz is sent to uncover the source of a particularly nasty Decepticon tactical edge on Cybertron -- he finds not just a super computer, but an Autobot wired into it. Can he and Prowl escape burning Praxus and the Decepticons? And can they recover Prowl's memory to find out who turned him over in the first place?
(This is my first fic, and I'm gonna admit, I dunno where it's going at all! It's just sort of a writing exercise for me, but it's gotten quite long, so I thought I'd post it. I hope you like it! Bit of a mishmash of G1, Prime, and WFC/FOC)

Yep, Red Alert knew it — life really was safer inside, back home with nothing but his monitors for company. He knew better than to get involved with a mech wanted for murder, but nobody ever said he didn’t have a bleeding spark. Perhaps literally, at the rate they were going.
Or: the one in which Swerve is framed for murder and the only one willing to listen is a mech paranoid and convinced that everyone is out to kill him. Oh yeah, and he’s also the one that (unintentionally) might have gotten Swerve put on that wanted list. Somehow, they make it work.

Summary
Jazz is a small-time criminal broker. Against his better judgment, he agrees to fence a stolen tactical computer, but instead of a fancy mod, that ‘computer’ turns out to be a beautiful, amnesiac Praxian.
Jazz may be a criminal, but he’s got limits, and mecha trafficking is one of them. He frees the captive Praxian and embarks on a quest to help the mech regain his memory.
It won’t be easy. The mech’s kidnappers aren’t happy their prize was stolen, and looming overhead is the spectre of whoever commissioned that tactical computer, and their unknown intentions for its bearer.
