Summary
Being a new parent is difficult. Being a new parent to de-aged soldiers with knowledge of the future, a general mistrust of everyone, and a habit of keeping secrets, all in the middle of a tense situation between historic enemies...well, that is slightly more difficult.

[“I intend to talk to Padawan Kenobi after he has some sleep,” Elmga said, shrewd eyes tracking the Mandalorian guard rotation. “And his guardian. He seems reasonable, just frightened. I think I might make some progress if I don’t have Tall, Dark, and Scary with me.”
“I am not that frightening,” Dooku said dryly.
“You most certainly are,” Elmga said. “That’s why the Force keeps giving you tiny, adorable padawans. It’s about balance.”
Kit stifled a giggle behind them, while Komari squawked in offense at being called ‘adorable.’]
[Cody could turn this to his advantage, probably. He was third-cycle, but he knew that third-cycle clones tended to be smaller than natborn humans of a similar physical stage, and that their largest growth cycles were the second cycle and the fourth cycle.
He remembered a lesson General Kenobi had been trying to teach Commander Tano, way back when she’d been a tiny new Padawan.
“ If you haven’t been recognized as a Jedi yet, and you can’t fight your way out, your best bet is to make them see you as a child ,” Kenobi had said.
Tano, as any third-cycle would, had scoffed. At that age, there was nothing a cadet wanted more than to be seen as an adult.
“Don’t be obstinate, ” Kenobi had said. “ Don’t make them find you annoying. Play dumb, play innocent, and if all else fails, cry. Make them think you wandered in by accident, or that someone else is responsible for you being there, and they’re much more likely to send you on your way. ”
The cop on the right pulled up a holo on their wrist-comm. It was the same picture that had been on all of Kenobi’s wanted posters.
“Not him,” the cop said, suddenly ten percent less hostile.
“Where are you supposed to be, kid?” the one on the left asked. “This area’s locked down, you know. There’s some dangerous people out and about.”
They seemed like they had no idea that he was a clone. Cody wondered if his face had changed more than the rest of his body, or if these people thought clones sprung fully-formed from their tubes. Even the armor didn’t seem to tip them off.
Cody was going to use that to its full advantage.
“I don’t know! ” he said, sniffling. “I was looking for my brother, and then I took a turn and I got lost and I don’t recognize anything and all the buildings are weird and Rex said that if I got lost he was gonna leave without me and—”
“Whoa, hey, hey,” the cop on the left said. “It’s gonna be okay. We’re here to help.”]
[From the look on Cody’s face, he didn’t find that good news.
Obi-Wan gently took his hand, startling him enough to make him pay attention to Obi-Wan, rather than his own anxieties.
“Don’t worry,” Obi-Wan said. “We’ve got this. As long as we stick together, we’ll be fine.”
“That’s not what I’m worried about,” Cody said.
“The Force will protect us,” Obi-Wan said, an automatic, comforting refrain after Melida/Daan. “Have faith, Cody.”
“Faith without action is death,” Cody countered. “Stay vigilant, Shiny.”
Obi-Wan conceded the argument, mostly because he had never heard that phrase before, but Cody said it like it was a foundational precept to him. Obi-Wan wondered who had taught him the phrase. His Kenobi, perhaps? The General? It was an interesting phrase, and one that he wanted to think about more, even if he didn’t think he agreed with it.]
[“Imagine what might happen, then,” Cody said grimly. “If you were between someone who could pull a Hutt Luxury Cruise liner down from space, and the person they loved. I’ve seen troopers get killed because an officer cared more about their favorite droid than the lives under their command. Power, no matter what kind, is very dangerous. The Jedi are some of the very few people I’ve seen who actually think about that sort of thing from birth.”
Silence.
“That’s also why they say you shouldn’t kidnap a padawan unless you’re certain the master is dead,” Cody mumbled, adjusting into a slightly more comfortable position. “Cuz if the master catches up to you, they’re likely to scramble your insides like an egg for putting their kid in danger, and they don’t even have to touch you to do it.”]
[He couldn’t help but stare at the sunflowers as they faded into the distance behind them.
Someday , he promised himself. Someday they would reach peace. Someday he would have sunflowers.]

[While Ben worked on the Hoth chocolate, Myles started telling a children’s story. It was a relatively simple story—they often had foundlings that had a shaky grasp of Mando’a, so Myles was keeping the vocabulary as small as possible and his words slow and emphasized so everyone could enjoy it. It was a story about a beroya named Rex, after the great Rexutu, and how they captured a great bounty and adopted a child all in the same hunt.
The children listened intently, though Ben seemed to be the only one who really understood it. Snips seemed mostly to be reacting to the movements and the name Rex. Jango doubted that she could really hear the story. Jinn had a laser focus on Myles, as though if he stared hard enough he would understand the Pantoran’s words better.
Snips fell asleep about halfway through. As most young Togruta did when they felt sleepy and safe, she started purring, which greatly confused and alarmed Jinn.
“Something’s wrong with her breathing!” he hissed, interrupting the story.
At the panic in his voice, Snips immediately woke up again. The purring stopped and she whined, digging her little claws into Jinn’s tunics.
Ben was clearly amused by the whole affair. “Ani, she was purring,” they said.
“Purring,” Jinn repeated uncertainly.
“Like a tooka,” Ben clarified.
Jinn looked extremely dubious about the whole thing. “But why? ” he asked.
“We do it when we feel safe and comfortable,” Kyrgun said, just as amused as Ben. “It’s a good thing. She clearly loves you two a lot.”
“She’ll likely grow out of it in a year or so,” Ben said. “I’ve only ever seen crèchelings do it.”
“Big ones can, too,” Kyrgun said, eyes crinkled in a smile, “but it’s typically something reserved for the family and children, or very close friends.”
The adults in the tent very carefully did not bring up the fact that Jinn had never heard his sister purr before. They needed more information before reaching any conclusions.
Ben still gave Jango a suspicious look, as though they could hear what Jango was thinking.
They probably couldn’t. Jango knew enough about Jedi to know that the rumors that Jedi could read minds were mostly false. The only ones who could were those who came from an already telepathic species, like Kel Dor.]

Summary
Cody woke up one morning in a much-missed Destroyer, surrounded by brothers lost forever and answering orders from a loved one he remembered killing.
And, in the eyes of each of his brothers, there was a knowledge and awareness that mirrored his own. They knew where they would be tomorrow, in a month, in a year. They knew where and when they and their friends would die.
The future was a disaster, and no one would protect them... so they would have to do it themselves. They would get organized, Cody and his brothers were very good at making plans. And they would obviously start by removing that damn chip from their heads.

Dogma had thought that he would rot in prison for the rest of his life. Condemned for the crime of killing a 'Jedi General'. What a joke. It was probably a fate well-deserved for a fool like him.
What he certainly hadn't expected was for a Sith to give him an offer that he couldn't refuse. His freedom in exchange for his loyalty. All he needed to do was watch and protect the Sith's five year old son, Luke

Summary
His children's paths were their own. They would never be shoved into politics as pubescent adolescents like his mother. They would never know what's was like to survive all on their own just as his father had lived on Corellia as a child. Nor would they ever feel compelled or coerced into learning the ways of the Jedi with its strict asceticism that eschewed normal and nurturing connection with others. No, if they chose to learn the ways of the Force–the Light, Dark and everything in between–they would learn to be the Living Force’s hands and never its weapon once they were consenting adults. The galaxy did not need any more Jedi or Sith. The generational trauma ended with both of them years ago on Exegol. It was the one rule their mother had for taking any learner, and one Ben fully supported, especially when it came to their own children.

[Mari smelled a rat, and Hermione’s reaction confirmed it.
“M...mum,” Hermione moved away and looked directly at her Mum as she prepared to lie. “I don’t know what you mean...” Mari smiled and tweaked her nose like she had done when Hermione was a baby. It has the desired effect, and happy her little girl was now smiling, she went on.
“You know what, sweetheart,” she continued, “don’t tell me, you’re very nearly an adult you are allowed secrets. Just tell me, is it just something that’s not Dad Safe? Like when we’d go own to London to visit the museums?”
Hermione nodded, remembering those days with her Mum when they would race to London be spend maybe an hour in one racing around a museum before attending some rally or protest, then talk about all the things they had seen that day so they could pretend to Andrew all day had been spent looking at exhibits. Andrew wanted his little girl to stay that way in pink dresses and pigtails. Mari wanted her to grow up tiny but fierce.
She wrapped her arms around her Mums waist and lay her head against her chest, holding on tight like she was a small girl again. “I didn’t want to lie, Mum, but it’s something I have to do. I know you understand that. It’s just...” Mari ruffled her hair and continued the thought for her.
“It’s just your Dad wouldn’t understand. I know, sweetheart, you’re just like me and your Grandpa Mickey, never met a cause we couldn’t champion. Your Dad has that kind of wilful blindness to you growing up that would think of you as a virgin after ten years of marriage and three kids” Hermione snorted at that, but Mari carried on. “I just worry sometimes, I don’t like the thought of that being taken advantage of.” Suddenly serious, Hermione sat up and stared at her mother, indignant again
“Harry isn’t like that Mum, he just needs my help. I’m his friend, I’m not going to abandon him...”
“I don’t think he is, honey, and I’d never ask you to abandon him,” Mari interrupted, and Hermione stayed silent. “But, he’s not the one in charge, is he? You told me about what happened to his parents and the anti-muggle movement. I’ve been reading that newspaper for three years now, I know what they say about him in the papers, I know all about it. Yet for all that he’s some kind of icon in your world, Hermione, he’s been left to live with his aunt and uncle who abuse him awfully. No, don’t interrupt me; let me finish. We’ve not done anything because we know that if we interfere, it won’t help – we’ve seen your godmother fight the system for her cases, and it gets nowhere, and she’s a social worker who isn’t fighting against memory charms, and god knows what else the wizarding world would throw in our way. From what you’ve told me, it seems like that headmaster of yours is controlling a lot or trying to. For some reason, he wants Harry there, and so he’s stuck there. Everyone kowtows to Professor Dumbledore, and yeah, ok, your Mum has never trusted anyone with that kind of influence over people, but honestly, I trust him about as far as I trust Mr Stephens at number 25.”]

[Finding the expression to come genuinely, Yan offered his padawan a small, barely-there smile, but the boy’s joy at seeing it lit up his face nonetheless.
Luminous beings are we, Yoda had once said, and Yan knew it to be true, even if he had scoffed at the sentiment upon first hearing it.
But as the first strings of the training bond woven between their minds finally connected, Yan was almost overwhelmed by the Light that shone from his new padawan’s core, and he knew then that his Master had been right. For all that there were shadows around that Light, shadows of pain and grief and sadness more profound than Yan had expected at the boy’s tender age, Obi-Wan Kenobi was the veritable personification of the Light side of the Force.
“Ready, padawan?” Yan inquired as they made their way out of the Council room far more in-sync than a freshly-named Master-Padawan pair ought to be, Obi-Wan following seamlessly despite walking at Yan’s side instead of slightly behind him as was custom, a fact Yan noticed and stashed away, as he had with many other curiosities about his new padawan over the last few weeks.
“That depends, Master Dooku.” Obi-Wan replied, tilting his head to glance up at Yan, though there was a flicker of amusement in his eyes and a looseness to his shoulders Yan hadn’t seen before. “What do you need me to be ready for?”]
[(And as the boy headed for the door out of the Room, for just a second, superimposed over the padawan's retreating back, Sifo-Dyas saw another figure.
A man, his hair the same fiery red as the padawan’s albeit shorter, the cut almost utilitarian. He was taller than the boy though shorter than Sifo-Dyas would have been if they stood side-by-side, and his broad shoulders seemed even broader with the white plastoid armour he wore over his clothing.
A familiar white armour. The same armour, in fact, that has haunted Sifo-Dyas for years. Yet unlike the faceless men of his nightmares who were covered in it from head to toe, this man still wore his Jedi robes, the armour an addition, not the main piece.
And, if that wasn't enough to distinguish him from the blaster-bearing soldiers of Sifo-Dyas' visions, then the lightsabre looped through his belt and the insignia of the Jedi Order stamped on his pauldron certainly were.
The padawan stopped by the door and, ignorant of the ghost that copied his every move, glanced over his shoulder, his eyes bloodshot and haunted, his lips twisted in a small, resigned smile drenched in sadness and heartbreak. He made eye-contact with Sifo-Dyas for the briefest of seconds, then broke it and headed out, and Sifo-Dyas found himself staring sightlessly at the place the boy had stood, struck speechless by an inescapable, undeniable realisation:
the Jedi soldier's expression had matched the padawan's perfectly.)
((Later, once he had retreated to his quarters, Sifo-Dyas grappled with another thought, one more concerning than his entire exchange with Yan’s padawan:
For the first time in his life, he hadn’t been certain whether the vision he had been looking at had been a glimpse of the future-
-or of the past.))]
[(For Sifo-Dyas, motion meant unpredictability. It meant that he could never fully know, could never completely prepare.
For Obi-Wan, motion meant possibility. It meant that he could always influence, could always affect change.)
((Sifo-Dyas was old and jaded and all out of optimism. Obi-Wan’s youth guaranteed his optimism, and his ghosts gave it the teeth of desperation.))]
[they both froze when they heard the crystal’s song.
Once, Rael would have wondered what sort of padawan wouldn’t notice outgrowing their kyber. Now, having met Jedi who had never drawn their blade after acquiring their crystals as initiates, Rael wondered what sort of trauma could cause a kyber to mourn its Jedi while that Jedi was still alive.]
[Feemor froze, then blinked rapidly at the instructions. He wanted to believe that it was a coincidence, that the exercise was something else than what it seemed, or anything other than-
“That’s a rescue mission through enemy territory.” He stated flatly, voice gone inflectionless with his horror.]

Summary
A few months after the end of the Vong War, Luke Skywalker is brought back in time to during the beginning of his journey. Even though the galaxy is ruled by the tyrannical Empire and the New Jedi Order haven't yet risen, he decides to do a typical unorthodox Skywalker move: go off to save his father earlier. Jedi Master Luke, Fusion of EU/DC.
This will not be an easy "Luke and/or Vader goes and kills the Emperor and claims the Empire" story. In my opinion, if Vader had survived Endor, or another successful attempt to destroy Sidious, then when he moved to keep the Empire intact, he would have encountered a lot of antagonism in the Core due to his deeds and reputation, along with a fair number of the military, from people who didn't want to be blamed for oversights and blunders. Regardless of whether he redeems his reputation and makes the right amount of deals, Vader taking over may still be seen as a power grab by at least a fraction of the Empire. That said, Vader is intelligent and has Luke helping him. Both are going to have a lot of work to do.

Summary
Old Ben fights and finds enlightenment out in the sandy expanse. He meets Death as an old friend, knowing it is his time.
The Skywalkers, of course, disagree.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is punted back to his first Illum trip with all of the experience and wisdom of his old life after he has come to terms with everything and is basically an actual old wise-man. He blames (correctly) the Skywalkers and their ridiculousness for this, but realized he can change events and help lots of people.
He is Ben Skywalker, and he has people to protect... but he's also eleven, and that's a tough age.

Bookmarker's Notes
[Ignorance yet Knowledge, indeed.
While he worked and listened, Ben gave the droids a bit more direction on what to focus on as it was rather obvious that they weren’t being used to their full potential. In his past life he had known only after Anakin had made friends with them how underutilized they were and exactly how much spare time the droids had. The amount of chaos a bored droid could get up to with a nine year old feral child as a friend was a humbling lesson for most of the temple last time, but it was a situation that he could make use of now.
Droids were also great at specific tasks and most importantly they were tireless and only needed regular maintenance. The amount of downtime the Temple’s droids had was an issue, as well as the number of deactivated or abandoned droids that had once fulfilled roles but because they were out of sight ended up becoming out of mind.
Ben made sure to tell the droids to spread the word and bring back any that were in need of maintenance and to do the work that they had once done. Truly, all they needed to increase the number of active droids and repair those that were broken was permission and a directive from a qualified person. Eventually, someone would realize that Ben had been using Yoda’s codes for an alarming number of things, but it was the old troll’s fault that he was too lazy to update them. Talk about a walking security disaster waiting to happen (if, truly, it hadn’t already).
The temple had a significant portion of its infrastructure and security systems in disrepair especially in the less used or outright abandoned spaces. Between the droids working to fix what they could and their reporting of issues they couldn’t to the Quartermaster and Captain of the Temple Guard, it would go a long way towards increasing the security and efficiency of the temple.
If they just so happened to bring a few more obvious security holes to the attention of the proper authorities, even those that younger beings used for some fun, well Ben was certain they would either get over it or get better at evasion; either way it would be a positive learning experience for everyone. If the droids managed to point out the security and maintenance issues with the utilities from heat, water, and air circulation systems that would be a serendipitous coincidence. If, during the security audit that would inevitably be spawned from the sudden blitz on Temple Maintenance and Security, the droids themselves were to be pointed out as a rather glaring security risk…
Ben had a good feeling about it.
He, knowing how it felt to be on the other side of these kinds of shenanigans, was almost certain that Cin and the Captain of the Guard were currently looking around in suspicion wherever they were in the Temple. Ben rather doubted they had his level of experience dealing with aspects of chaos so their paranoia wouldn’t be enough to stop him.
What could he say, the Force works in mysterious ways.
Once he was finished in droid maintenance, he began to explore the lower levels of the temple as he was basically already there. There were a few sections that he knew vaguely about that he wished to find, but he also figured there might be plenty of other surprises for him to discover along the way. He had a separate pad with mapping software and an attached exterior scanner so he wouldn’t get lost, but could also eventually use it to update the official map in the temple servers once he properly updated them and their security.]
[It wasn’t truly his fault as he was inexperienced and currently in a role without any guidance or mentors as the leadership of his people had been abandoned for so long, but he was very glad that whomever this was had reached out. Not only because they had almost certainly saved his life, but because they gave him unvarnished advice constantly surrounded with phrases like “Trust, but verify.” “Who watches the watchers?” “Where does that ration come from, how did it get to your table?”.
Truly, the full diagnosis of a simple meal from how the dirt and plants or animals were created or maintained to the bafflingly intricate logistics of a full modern society that allowed the table, chair, plate, cup, silverware, and even salt to be available for a simple lunch had been a bit much, but had also expanded his horizons quite a bit.]

“You didn’t try to. You did.”
“True, but some of them were a bit wonky. But it was a dash of nutmeg. You asked what you were tasting.”
“It bothered me that I couldn’t figure it out.”
“Mystery solved.]
[“We didn’t have a wedding cake, so I made us one.”
Ben’s chin quivered. “You made us a wedding cake?”
“I know it’s not fancy, but I thought we deserved one.”
It was one tier with three layers of lemon cake. Rey made an Italian meringue frosting and added fresh berries in between each layer. The frosting was white, and the piping was simple, but Ben was looking at it like it was the most beautiful cake he had ever seen. ]

Summary
Rey landed a job caring for the daughter of the enigmatic ocean conservationist, Ben Solo. The lifestyle of the rich is crazy, and it’s almost enough to distract from other things, like how the estate manager Hux goes away on the full moon, the sweet housekeeper Rose sometimes smells like blood… and the seals on the shore go mad when Ben gets near.
But the most mysterious thing of all is that she and Ben strike up an unlikely friendship.A Jane Eyre/paranormal AU. Enjoy!
P.S. This is a fairly soft Ben Solo; he's got some trauma, but he's been dealing with it and is (more or less) ready for a healthier relationship.
