Summary
One of the Jetii’s scarred, pretty hands reached out and travelled to Jaster’s neck which had the latter stiffen. “What are you doing?”
“Making sure your heart doesn’t fail while you sleep.” Jon replied. This Jetii was strange.
“Your hand is putting too much pressure. I can’t sleep like this.”
“I would rather not find you dead in the morning.” Jon replied, his hand not moving, “Healing you would be a waste of energy if that were to happen.”
“At least put your hand lower– how do you expect a Thaung-descendant to sleep when their ancient enemy is choking them?”
It was hard to see the Jetii’s face below that deep hood of his. “Very well.” Jon scooted a bit closer. Jaster moved up and rested his head on top of the Jetii’s thigh.
“What are you doing?” Jon demanded.
“Shhh, sleep speeds up the healing process.” Jaster mumbled.
Another sigh told Jaster just how much he was pissing Jon off, but the Jetii kept his cool and slowly settled. It was actually surprisingly comfortable to lie down like this.

Summary
Evan “Buck” Buckley fought for his family. He fought to get back to them and now that he’s back his family won’t even look at him without disdain anymore. Buck had dropped the lawsuit and his family won’t forgive him for suing them. Originally Buck thought it’d blow over but after 2 months he’s lost hope for things going back to normal. Then his call back to action from the Navy comes and he doesn’t fight it.
Aka: Buck is tired of fighting for the family that no longer wants him. Its set during the post Lawsuit era and its a story about of Buck was a Naval aviator and he gets called back for the suicide mission from Top Gun: Maverick.

Summary
Mando'a, lit. "Little Commanders".
At the beginning of the Clone Wars, the Jedi Council began fearing they would lose one of their best - Anakin Skywalker. In their fear of him quitting the Order, they issued him a padawan. It was a desperate move, and one they weren't exactly proud of, but it worked. Not only did Ahsoka Tano wind up a competent leader and devoted Jedi, but her master also grew closer to the Order and the other jedi around him as a result.
As the war has dragged on, many masters have either died or been forced to compromise their principles. No longer satisfied with current events, even the most loyal among them have questioned their actions and faith.
In short: well, if it works once...
...
Or: everyone gets a padawan, everything is dramatic, and the jedi half-forgot how absolutely Mandalorian their clones are and left their children in adoption-range. Expect shenanigans, misadventures, and Palpatine's unfortunate, humiliating demise. What a shame.Partially inspired by the Soft Wars series by Project0506.

The clones were made for the Jedi, and they cannot bear to be without their Generals. At least a few would have been likely to take a 'souvenir' in remembrance, after the Order - after they came back to themselves
And the former members of the Grand Army of the Republic are intimately familiar with the skills of the Cloners of Kamino.
…what do you want to bet that at least one clone - let’s say Rex, for the sake of argument. Purely as a random example! (wink wink cough cough) - has a knot of hair as a lover’s token from a Jedi.
(Copper-red, of course. Was there ever any doubt?)
He raises the resulting clone as his own child - his and his lover’s both.
Thus is born the Teeny Tiny Mandalorian Kenobis universe.

Jango froze in the entryway, the front door still open, spilling in light from the neighbor’s over the top Christmas decorations. The last time Obi ‘full named’ him had been… the beginning of the end.
Then, Jango had made it a joke, had full named back, had run.
Not this time. Jango firmly closed the door behind himself, clicking the lock and shutting off the option of escape. “Yes, cyare?”
A reminder that Obi-Wan was Jango’s beloved first and foremost.
