Brothers were fun. Wind wasn’t even sorry that these guys were growing on him. Like mold. He wondered what his family would think of them.
"It'll be an improvement!" Warriors insisted.

Summary
Warriors learned most of his hero skills in battle. How to lead, how to comfort, how to defend, and how to distract. How to be a good leader and a better comrade. He learned as fast as he could for his country, and for his Queen, and for the child heroes that were summoned to help him when he was not enough on his own.
Those skills failed Wild, but he will still learn. He refuses to fail this new hero, Linkle. He will be open and willing to listen when asked for help even when help cannot be asked through pride or uncertainty.
Faced with grim news from home, Warriors was starting to recognize how out of practice he was when it came to asking for help for himself.

Summary
Ganondorf wasn’t wrong; the gods were the ones to flood Hyrule, not him. Link could recognize, as powerful and terrifying as the man was, that none of the girls he kidnapped had actually been hurt. Even he and Tetra, who actively got in his way, were barely given more than a bruise in the man’s rage while they fought.
So, in that single last chance Link had to finish their fight for good, the decision was simple.
He spared him.

Maybe she’s not even a Hero of Courage, Green wondered. Perhaps she’s of Wisdom.Four was determined to do better with Linkle than he did with Wild. He was certain they all were, doing their best to be politely curious and cautiously aware of what habits she was showing them. They were going to be a team this time; if some painful self realizations were necessary, so be it.

Summary
Wild did not speak, though he did make sounds every so often. As in, infrequently, often. A hum on this tone, a sound in that pitch, but far enough apart that it was almost always easy to miss.
When Sky led the group to the Earth Spring out of collective curiosity, Wild seemed to find it in himself to make sounds of interest or curiosity with noticeable tandem. Then, he found the Goddess Statue.
The draw of a blade had never before sung so literally.

Zelda had requested his assistance, so Link set out to learn what he could to about these strange new threats. Encountering heroes from the past was a surprise, but it gave him hope to have friends by his side.
He did his best to hold onto that hope, but that is harder than it should be when his first impression isn’t all that great.
When all is said and done, Link - Wild - must decide if the Heroes of the Forgotten Past are worth opening up to.
