Summary
Ever since Fullmetal got that damn ring, Roy couldn’t stop staring at it. He would look longingly at Ed’s shirt, waiting for it to ride up, and the metal would catch the light. This was incredibly unfair. Roy was trapped in a prison inside his own home. It’s just how things have shaken out. He’s entirely a researcher now that he’s alchemy free and lacks any actual military training. It’s not like they need to stuff him into a bullpen or massive office where he has to suffer through stupid military regulation, mandatory firearm training, and fervent ass kissing. He likes the quiet of a personal office and the ability to do his work somewhere else whenever he feels like it.
