“I tried calling Nancy but she wasn’t home and then I phoned Robin but I think I sent her into overdrive just by the thought of babysitting,” Eddie continued. Steve heard him shushing the baby between words. “What if I just dropped her off at the fire station and her mom picked her up after her shift?”
“Okay – don’t do that."
