He was just the same as all of the other ill-fated men that she looked after every day. He was in just as much danger. Fresh tears pooled in her eyes. How could she have ever wished for him to be here with her? It seemed so unimaginably cruel now it had happened...
“I thought I was going mad. I… I was starting to wonder which world was real.” She confessed shakily. His eyes crumpled in understanding.
“I know. It’s mad and impossible. Tell me you’ve got a perfectly logical and scientific explanation for this because I am dying to hear it!” He joked lightly.
