Summary
Hela was ready to escape Asgardr, never to return. Then little Loki was placed in her hands, and she knew she had to stay. Someone had to look after him while Odin doted on Thor.
AKA The AU where Hela was allowed to stay as long as she became "lady of the court" (for the good of the realm, of course). She ends up raising Loki, teaching them Seidr until she can stand Asgardr's gilded lies no longer.

Summary
AU during The Avengers (2012).
'Loki' has been captured in Germany and Thor has been despatched to Earth to deal with him, but what if it wasn't really Loki?
While arguing in front of the sceptre and unaware they're all being influenced by it, no one is prepared when Loki shows up in the lab and claims to NOT be leading an invasion, and that someone is framing him.
With more understanding of magic on their side than Thor can provide, what will come to light about the imposters actions and the truth of the invasion?
What will happen when the real Loki gets involved, and has exactly no time for the pettiness of mortals when there is an impending invasion? How will the Battle of New York go with another player added to the mix?
And should the public be told what has been going on? SHIELD don't think so, but SHIELD aren't calling the shots anymore.

Summary
Odin always intended his charismatic son to be the figurehead king, while the clever one advised him and made sure things ran well behind the scenes.
Only now Thor is king and Loki isn't playing. Thor has been insufferable since the coronation was announced and Loki in no mood to sort out the kingdom only for his brother to take the credit. He's not getting involved until Thor begs him for help.

Tony pinched the bridge of his nose and took in a deep breath. "Yeah, I know, Thor. But see, first of all, the party was last week –"
The man standing next to Thor – a man who was much more appropriately dressed than the God of Thunder (who had yet to grasp the nuance of Midgardian fashion) - interrupted. "It's not our fault for not realising how inadequate Midgardian parties are. A proper event should last for at least two weeks, if not more. In fact, for an Asgardian celebration, our arrival would be considered as, hmmm, fashionably late."
Tony threw the man a finger but otherwise ignored him, keeping his gaze on Thor. "And that's the second thing. Seriously, Thor? I meant like Jane Foster or your warrior buddies or literally anyone else in the universe apart from your psychotic little murdering maniac of a brother here."
Thor and Loki exchanged confused glances, and then Loki cocked his head to one side and looked curiously at Tony.
"Is this perchance due to my little ... misadventure ... in New York?"
