What should a wife be to a husband? What should a wife be that Shane isn’t?
Maybe Ilya wants someone who will let him take charge. Shane isn’t that kind of person; he desperately clings to control with everything he has. He folds his clothes before sex and cleans his windows after Ilya fucks him against them. He controls his food portions, nutrition, his training schedule, image, and public appearances. He’s competitive. He would never roll over and take anything he didn’t want to.
The thought makes his stomach clench. The one place he doesn’t cling desperately to control is in the bedroom. He lets himself be molded, shaped, and coaxed into anything Ilya wants when they fuck.
