“Do the thing,” Lando says suddenly, his eyes wide and pleading.
“What thing? I’m not doing it,” Oscar replies, trying to sound firm but failing to suppress the smile tugging at his lips.
“The thing you do for new customers. You know, the thing,” Lando insists, gesturing vaguely as if it will make it clearer.
Oscar tries to resist, but the hopeful look on Lando’s face is his undoing. With a long-suffering sigh, he straighteners his posture and steps behind the counter.
Oscar crosses his arms, already exasperated. "I’m not doing it, Lando. Besides, you’re not a new customer.”
“But I’m literally your boyfriend, mate!” Lando exclaims but Oscar remains unmoved, his expression as stoic as ever. Though the subtle twitch at the corner of his mouth betrays his amusement.
or: Oscar runs a pizzeria and Lando is a twitch streamer, and together they try to save their little restaurant

“Hello.” An accented voice came from behind Lando.
“Hello,” Lando responded meekly, like a child caught drawing on the walls. He didn’t turn around just yet, already eager to plan his escape before the unknown figure could see his face.
“It doesn’t bite, by the way- the bike, that is- although, it was entertaining to watch you jump a mile. It won’t hurt you.” He recognised the accent immediately; there was only so much hanging around Daniel you could do before you became accustomed to an Australian’s way of language.
“Could’ve fooled me,” Lando scoffed. “That orange is enough to scar someone’s eyes. Someone could probably claim against that.”
“I don’t know about that, but sure.” The man gave a small laugh.

Lando is a florist in Harlow Street, a close community town, and Oscar is the new tattoo artist that caught his attention.
