Summary
Jayce cups the butchered halves of Viktor’s face with his calloused palms. He looks right into his eyes, two unblinking sigils of his connection to the arcane. Jayce looks at them like they burn him, like they provide the only semblance of warmth left, like he’ll accept every blister if it means he can get this close.
Jayce leans in, his thumb brushing against the cold skin of Viktor’s cheek.
“You still have that mole,” Jayce murmurs against him, so close it is almost a kiss. “The one right above your lip.”
