Summary
Peter is a comic books fan, which is probably pretty weird considering he's an actual superhero, but whatever. He's made peace with it.
Now an adult with a full-time job to juggle on top of his Spider-Man duties, he doesn't have time to read most releases for his favorite characters, save for one: Deadpool. He keeps up religiously with Deadpool. Even has a poster of him on his wall, and even occasionally talks to that poster just to keep the crippling loneliness of his double-life at bay.
Deadpool's newest and most mysterious series, Deadpool: Arrival, is... strange. The plot is paper thin and pointless, none of Deadpool's usual crowd shows up, and his fourth wall breaks are... weird. Like, weird weird. Uncanny, some might say.
Or, really, one might say. Because the longer Peter reads, the more he begins to realize that all those fourth wall breaks, all those weird asides, seem to be tailored to one person, and one person alone: himself.

It would be Peter Parker luck to run into Deadpool whilst he is completely drunk, wouldn't it?

“Alright! Peter-pumpkin-eater! We’re getting somewhere now! Peter, I want to help you get home, okay? Can you help me with that?”
He prompts, to which Peter begins stumbling towards a nearby alleyway, mumbling something incomprehensible. He smacks against a wall, and Wade needs to peel him off it- fucking Christ, this kid has a grip- eventually managing to coax him from attempting to climb up brick. Like that isn’t a head injury waiting to happen. And look, Wade’s not one to judge a book by its cover, but the way the guy’s dressed? He’s suspecting he doesn’t have health insurance. Peter’s given up caring about his identity around Wade. They're friends, proper friends, not just the kind of we-trade-banter-and-you've-saved-my-ass-a-few-times allies you tend to make in the vigilante gig. He hasn't exactly taken the mask off yet, but he's given more than enough information for Deadpool to track him down. The way he's going, it's like he'll reveal his whole life before, you know, actually revealing.
