Note: As a writer over 30 I am disturbed by the idea of writing explicit stories about teenagers so for the purpose of my stories, the characters are the actresses' age. Summary
(Soulmates AU) The name of your soulmate takes the form of a mark from birth that becomes clearer with age and time. Kara Danvers is a young hopeless romantic, still relatively new in National City, she works at CatCo as Cat Grant’s personal assistant and a budding junior reporter when opportunities come her way; with everything together and nothing together, Kara is certain if she could just find her missing-half then life will finally be whole.
Much to Kara’s initial joy her birthmark starts to change, it comes after a happenstance professional meeting with Lena Luthor, which turns into drinks, dinner dates, and a whirlwind that leaves them both certain they’re on to something good. Her birthmark is still blotchy and indecipherable, but some progress is better than no progress.
There’s just one small, tiny birthmark-shaped problem…
A problem that, to Kara’s horror, starts becoming clearer by the day.

Nevermind that Supergirl abandons Kara on dates, drags her onto dangerous battlefields for “the story,” and doesn’t seem to give a flying hunk of kryptonite that Kara is constantly being kidnapped to bring Supergirl down. No, Lena is thrilled.

"So," Lena whispers. She's got her mouth against Kara's throat, her hands at Kara's waist and there's a chance that Kara's basically sitting in her lap to give her better access. She kisses at the part of Kara's neck that she's been working on, the skin already oversensitive and probably bruising. Kara shivers. "Tell me what you like?"
Kara's first thought is this, and it comes out before she can properly filter it. She's already blushing by the time she hears herself speak. Lena always does have a knack for getting her like this, making her a bit more honest than she intends to be.

”Did you just kiss me?!” Anna blurts, and then feels her entire face heat up because the blonde in front of her laughs; not loud or cruel, but low and a little... embarrassed?
”No,” is the answer, when it finally comes. “Not technically. I could argue that you kissed me, but since you couldn't really choose where I landed, the point is rather moot.” She's saying all of this with a perfectly serious, almost pensive expression on her face, and it's more than just a little surreal to essentially hear a well-dressed, completely normal-looking person claim to be a snowflake. “I'd prefer to say that we kissed each other,” she eventually decides, and smiles. “That sounds much nicer, don't you think?”
