There had to be a way out, that was all D3rlord3 could think of. Well, that and Avery. There was no way in hell he was going to let The King keep them trapped in this hellhole forever. They would find the cracks, and they would find a way to slip through them. The King could go fuck himself.
Or, D3rlord3 and Avery attempt to find their way out of The King's clutches, and maybe lose some of their humanity along the way.

He tried, over and over, to bite his tongue, to drop his halberd, to rip the soul out of his chest and stomp it into the ground. It never worked.
As darkener after darkener fell, and the dark fountain grew ever closer, he couldn't help but ask himself; "What would Kris do?"

Summary
When the empty classroom at the school is cleaned out, Kris, Susie, Ralsei and Lancer go on a scavenger hunt across Hometown to locate all the missing objects from the classroom to restore the Dark World. Along the way, they soon discover there are more dark princes just like Ralsei, and that they all originate from secret diary entries that Asriel has hidden around town. But the more they recover, the more they uncover about their own pasts, and dark secrets that Hometown has been keeping from them.
This fancomic was started and finished before chapter two of Deltarune came out. As such, it should currently be considered an alternate universe from Deltarune's canon.
