Summary
Almost 8 years after the fall of Fittes, Anthony Lockwood starts receiving some rather concerning threats. He insists that Barnes is overreacting, and Barnes says that he'd rather have an overprotective streak than a dead CEO of Psychic Solutions, previously known as Fittes Agency. Unfortunately, George and Holly both seem to agree with the aging man, and Lockwood finds himself soon-to-be-saddled with a team of apparently overqualified bodyguards. He's one of the nation's most famed heroes, he certainly doesn't need bumbling international intelligence soldiers.
Almost 8 years after the fall of Fittes, Lucy Carlyle still knows Marylebourne like the back of her hand. It's been 7 years since British Intelligence forcibly recruited her. She doesn't have a choice but to put her past behind her, never had, no matter how much it hurts. That is, until Lucy's handler assigns her and her partner a case well below their normal pay grade: protecting one rising star of the corporate world in central London, one Anthony Lockwood.
