Caitlyn observes from the wall as Vi runs the routine, then comes over. She touches Vi’s lower back. Pushes, gently, guiding Vi through a rotation of her hips. Vi’s lower half lights up like a fork in a socket.
“It comes from here,” Caitlyn says. “Not so much the legs. Try it.”
Vi misses Caitlyn’s hand when she steps away. She follows the phantom push until she’s completed the sequence.
Tilting her head, Caitlyn says, “Better, but you’re stiff. Do you feel sexy?”

Vi was usually here by now. She was about to turn and walk away, maybe get a good night’s sleep for once, when an exhilarated voice behind her halted her in her tracks.
