  1. Summary

Exactly what it says on the tin. More of a collection than a series, as the two stories aren't really related.

  2. Summary

A couple of short, semi-poetic Steven Universe pieces. "Light Bits" are the currency used in the "Light Trilogy" of Steven Universe video games, which don't really have anything to do with these stories, but I needed a name.

  3. Summary

A collection of old character-versus-character battles originally written for the NintendoLand Forums, now defunct. These would be written by various forumites, but only the ones that I wrote are posted here, and only those that I found worth reposting. These are generally done just for the fight, assuming a somewhat Smash-like setting where characters from multiple games coexist and are aware of their roles within those games; there was no larger tournament setup, so relationships between different matches are more along the lines of references than proper continuity. During each fight, there would usually be commentary, either from the Mario Bros. or from characters more relevant to the combatants, and the bulk of the battle would be written and posted before opening a poll to vote for the winner, upon closure of which the conclusion to the fight would be written. Little else was consistent, allowing flexibility between different authors.

  4. Summary

A canon-compliant crossover of Avatar: The Last Airbender and RWBY. The worlds of either show exist separately, and characters end up getting sent between them, allowing for interactions. The series attempts to have an ongoing plot, but ultimately mainly consists of a lot of random scenes with random characters set at random points along both shows' timelines. These involve different kinds of happenings, but in my mind the focus is on comedy (mostly character-based) and action sequences, letting us see the Avatar characters' bending used alongside RWBY's elaborate weapons and Semblances. The stories were written early in RWBY's release history (around Volume 3), and take into account some of Avatar's post-series graphic novels. There are only two stories, and the second one's incomplete.

    Bookmarker's Notes

Despite what you might expect from a Super Mario Bros. fanfic, this is one of the absolute best pieces of literature ever put to pen. Several Paper Mario partners serve as main characters, including Vivian, who's shipped with Mario, but even if that's not quite your thing, there's too much to love here to pass it up. Due to a number of important mystery elements and plot twists, I can't say a whole lot more, but the gist is that our heroes (and Bowser) are pitted against a creepy alternate version of their reality wherein Peach is an evil dictator.

    Summary

When Dib Membrane sets out to retrieve two bizarre cores orbiting the moon, firmly believing the talking metal spheres are alien in origin, he could never be prepared for what they would lead him to: a missing test subject, an irksome kidnapped alien, a sprawling deathtrap of an underground laboratory, a godlike AI with a vendetta against the cores, and secrets about himself that he'd never dared to acknowledge. If he is to escape with his life, and the lives of those he's gathered along the way, he must confront it all.

    Bookmarker's Notes

A crossover of Portal and Invader ZIM that positively nails the extremely difficult characterization of everyone from both, and blends the worlds so naturally that you'll probably forget that it's a crossover. More often horror than comedy, whatever it's doing at any given moment, I have a hard time imagining it being done any better—the story's only flaw, as such, is that it's not yet complete. Since more attention tends to motivate writing, you'd better check this one out, but be aware that updates (understandably) take a long time. Still, this is canon-quality material from two series that desperately need more content, and is quite frankly one of the best pieces of literature (fan or otherwise) that you'll ever encounter.
