Summary
Hospital gowns, white walls, and the aftershocks of fearing for the lives of kids he's come to think of as family - it's a combination that doesn't bode well for Steve.
It seems like his mind can't help but remind him that no matter how far he runs; he'll always come back to the place that haunts his nightmares and person he never wants to be again.
Atleast this time he has the comfort of his family to lean on, and there's no looming doctors or faux father figures that are going to take that away from him.

Summary
Steve Harrington was calm, cool, collected, and emotionally stable to top it off.
He was popular, had absolutely no dark stains marring his squeaky clean life story, and definitely didn't have any skeletons in his closet.It's the lie Steve built his life around, the story that created 'King Steve'.
But now, he's learning to be person, not a character. One with a personality and morals and a whole inner world that no longer needs the 'stay mean, stay safe' attitude he'd perfected in his first few years out of the lab. Now, his life revolves around a bunch of dorky kids and his own predisposition for putting himself in danger to protect the people he loves.

Almost simultaneously, three objects - a green guitar pick, a drumstick and a patent black shoe, to be precise - sail through Julie's head.
She raises her head, body still flickering slightly where the projectiles had disappeared through her and shoots a glare at the three boys. The blonde on the drums looks sheepish but determined, drawing back his arm to throw his second stick at her. The other two are moving towards the drum kit, towards each other and the third boy, almost protectively. Julie snorts, she is 5'4'' and 110 pounds soaking wet, what do the boys have to be scared of?

Summary
Since being saved by Julie after the Orpheum show, the boys had been clinging to her side. She could touch them, but the boys had been extremely reserved with their affections despite being next to her more often than they weren't. When the boys decide to take a trip so that Julie has a break from their constant presence, they unknowingly give Caleb the perfect opportunity to swoop in and strike.
Except, his way of getting at the boys this time is through Julie.
Alternatively: Caleb's a sore loser, Julie experiences being a ghost, Willie's the only one that can see her, and Ray adopts four ghost boys in need of a family.

Peter licks his dry lips and tries to get his eyes to adjust to the brightness, his chest muscles pulling as he struggles to breathe against gravity. “Tony?” His voice is weak, full of fear and confusion and Jesus, he feels like his body is on fire. Why is everything on fire?
“Right here, bud.”
“Wha’s goin’ on? Where’s May?”
“Still on her business trip. You’ve got a pretty high fever and your heart rate is through the roof. Gonna get you home and get both of them down, okay?”
“Did I pass out?” He closes his eyes in embarrassment because he knows he did, knows that he’s scared the shit out of Ned and Mrs. Benninger and MJ.
