Summary
After fleeing her abusive aunt's cult, River ended up unhappily marriage and running way form that too. She's got by through petty theft, sofa surfing and coming up with multiple aliases to scam the people around her. That is how she ends up in Oxford, meeting Professor John Smith, Amy and Rory. After noticing their comfortable lives, she's intent on scamming them too to make enough money to flee the UK and be free of her her past forever.

Summary
The Doctor shows up at Stormcage to pick River up for a sort of honeymoon. They have romantic sex and both spend it fantasizing about a very different kind of dynamic. Later, an intense conflict with an enemy brings out a version of the Doctor that River finds very sexy and everything comes to a sadomasochistic head.
