Summary
My name is Jean Kirschtein, and I have a shit job. I'm basically a garbage man. And by 'garbage' I mean 'very angry dead people.' I guess it has its perks sometimes, though; I get to meet all kinds of interesting people.

Summary
I'm terrible with descriptions - basically, Jean Kirstein was chosen to be sacrificed, to go and serve the man who lives in a castle on a mountain. Classic, right? But when he gets there, he finds out why there's such a stigma around the place - there's some kind of monster. Something that smells like a corpse, eats dead people, and has eyes like coals. And, for whatever reason, it seems to be obsessed with him.
Helping him as he tries to figure out this insane asylum is his guide and roommate, Marco Bodt. Marco is the oldest of the sacrifices, with a huge scar across his face from an encounter with the monster. He's the only one who's ever seen the face of their so-called 'Master', and he's never present at night. Surely, he couldn't know something more about this beast? (Sounds super cheesy but I promise it's not quite as cliche as the description is.)Bookmarked by Goldobra

Summary
Everyone knows better than to associate with the Pagan family near the edge of town. Especially Jean. So many years of church and his father's harsh words have taught him as much. And yet, he can't seem to keep his eyes from wandering that way any time he passes by.
Jean is raised Christain, while Marco's family is Pagan, set roughly in the 1700s. Marco always seems to know too much, and Jean always seems to think too much. It's a dismal situation, one that begs the ultimate question: Can they somehow make it, despite the hardships?

Summary
The game was Jean's to play.
Trying to live day to day when he wasn't even sure how long those days could last. An eternity? longer? Hopefully less? It was all a shot in the dark and Jean's been tired of running after dead bullets since the end of his third deathiversary. That is until a new piece in the puzzle that is Jean's 'life' appears. Now it's just a race to find a way for Jean to escape his little home-styled hell and to give Marco the peace he's wanted since he was born.
